The Historical North Highland Recreation Center’s mission is to inspire educate and power and enlighten our populace by working hand-in-hand to provide an inclusive community-led change by its participation in various activities programs and function.

The Historical North Highland Recreation Center also known as North Highland Recreation Center is a nonprofit organization that started in 1981.

The Historical North Highland Recreation Center derives its beginning from the North Highland Elementary School that once stood at this historical site before integration in 1969.

The North Highland Elementary School building, even though empty after integration will continue to stand with the same pride until it burned in 1981. Many memories were made and our testament and legacy for the alumni who entered and where educated within its historical walls.
